Parachuting, as an aviation sport, developed in Macedonia after World War II. The first parachute jump was made in 1938 by Alexander Trajkovic.

The Skopje Airfield organizes beginners and advanced training for Parashuters. Training for beginners is organized twice a year, In spring and autumn. Advanced training lasts throughout the year.

In charge of parachute training is Jane Stefanov, a parachuting instructor.
